Irish Lives Remembered publishes Ireland’s only free monthly digital genealogy magazine dedicated to helping those trace their With the year of ‘The Gathering’ and a surged interest in Irish Family History, those researching their Irish ancestors globally are in for a treat in the March free digital edition of Irish Lives Remembered.

This month they have teamed up with Inside History magazine in Australia with a unique 16-page free Irish-Australian supplement showcasing articles from prominent Irish-Australian historians whose research looks at early convict transportation, to families who risked everything to be reunited with loved ones in the 1850s, and a family who created a little piece of County Sligo in 1920s Hobart, Tasmania – now it’s a museum dedicated to the family’s work in protecting Tasmania’s heritage. Inside History publisher, Cassie Mercier quoted ” Packed with features, family research tips and interviews, the supplement gives readers of Irish Lives Remembered a taste of Irish-Australia, and an insight into what family historians Down Under are researching”.

Irish Lives Remembered publisher Eileen Munnelly quoted “We are delighted to be working with Inside History, a prominent genealogy & history publisher in Australasia. We believe combining our offering provides our readers with an insight into Irish history in Australia and a range of other untapped resources for those researching their Australian/Irish heritage”.

And the supplements don’t end there. The second collaboration will showcase Irish Lives Remembered in Inside History’s May/June 2013 digital issue, on sale May 1st. This will feature an exclusive 16-page supplement from Irish Lives Remembered and will be available worldwide via Inside History’s Zinio and Apple Newsstand.
